June 20th - July 13th, 2011 - Went abroad on my first trip to Europe, spending nine days in Venice for the Biennale. While in Venice, I also made time for older works, including 12th-century Byzantine mosaics in Torcello, Giotto's frescoes at the Arena Chapel in Padua, and the Titian altarpieces at the Frari. From there, it was a 12-day sprint through Vienna, Prague, Berlin, and Edinburgh, where I attempted to soak up all the art, culture, and architecture I could manage. The collections of the Albertina and Belvedere Palace in Vienna and the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin were particularly noteworthy.

April 30th - June 5th, 2011 - MFA Thesis show at the Weatherspoon Art Museum. For installation views of the exhibition, look left!
